Perception and Use of Open Access Resources: A Case Study of Shivaji University Teachers and Students

Abstract
Open access resource is a reference backbone of the researcher as it explores plenty of open resources to anybody and anytime. The present paper highlights on the awareness and use of open access resources by the teachers and student of Shivaji University, Kolhapur Maharashtra. Data were collected from the 132 respondents of pure science Department. Results indicates that majority of students and teachers are aware of open access resources and they are used this resource for academic and research assignments. Further e-books found to be the most reliable preference by the respondents
