Electronic Information Resources for Management Sciences: Review, Challenges and Management for Future Libraries

Abstract


This paper facilitates library professionals especially working with the Management Science Institute Libraries; one can certainly take a review of the notable listed e-resources made availed by various publishers, aggregators or third party vendors under the management sciences domain. It will definitely help library professionals to choose the best e-resource/s from the 59 listed e-resources as per their requirement and available library budget. The paper also describes the solutions towards the acquisition of e-resources and has also suggested the path for its proper management, as it’s been a concern for every library and its library professionals striving to look upon futuristic aspects of librarianship.
It is been already appealed to the AICTE to think over instead of listing only few reputed e-resources in the process handbook for its subscription by the approved management institutes, they may include all these e-resources those are listed here and can suggest management science institutes to select amongst and subscribe for their libraries and fulfil the ever increasing demand of e-information by their clientele.
