Restructuring LIS Curriculum at Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women’s University, Vijayapura, Karnataka

Abstract

This article analyzes the changes in Library and Information Science curriculum and describes the courses currently available at Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women’s University, Vijayapura. It also explored a possible demand for two new value added courses, while suggesting hard core, soft core and open elective courses for Master’s degree curriculum in Library and Information Science.
