Library Services: Need of Marketing and Promotion

Libraries are the backbones of the any educational institute. Libraries are growing with the financial support of the parent institutions. They perform their duties and day to day life activities very effectively but now day’s new concept of library marketing & marketing and promotion of the service arises. For promotional of Library services it is very important to understand client needs. Plan service provision, available services and how effectively & efficiently deliver support to the users. Marketing is become an essential tool in justifying fund requirements. As a librarian we plan to prepare the library marketing plan and work on it.
