Blogging in Libraries: A Study

Abstract


The aim of this paper is to explore the role of the blogs and library blogs in international universities. For this research paper authors searches the internet specially the QS World University ranking, and specially ranking by subject in ‘library and information Management’ in the year 2018.For the first time ever QS World ranking include Library and Information science subject in their subject list. Author studied top 10 universities for Library and Information Management by subject which having library blogs. This paper is based on library blogs; content analysis by selected parameter, Social media, and micro blogging sites used for connectivity, Content coverage links for university websites and library blogs. Libraries must follow new technologies and advantages of the newest innovations, such as Blogs and RSS feeds and these must be reflected in library services.
