Use of Web 2.0 tools for Research in the Medical Education Institutions

Abstract


Web 2.0 is emerging technology which is developed from Web technology i.e. newer technology in the Internet World. Web 2.0 is a term that describes the changing trends in the use of World Wide Web technology. Its aim is to improve creativity, information sharing, collaboration and faster functionally of the web. This paper aims to explore Web 2.0 technologies usage and its trends in medical and health science by research scholars. It discusses about the basic principles and technologies of Web 2.0 tools. It also deals that the recent application of Web 2.0 technologies in implications research particularly medical and health science.
