Abstract

Abstract

Floristic studies has recently received much attention. Due to climate changes and fast urbanization many species have become extinct and many are facing threats as a response to these changes. In the present floristic explorations were made to college campus with the aim of collecting and identifying herbaceous flora occurring in this campus. During these visits 31 herbaceous plants under 28 genera belonging to 14 families were observed in the college campus. All the plants have been described with their scientific names, family, economic valu and voucher no. All the plants were deposited to the Govt Motilal Vigayan Mahavidalaya Bhopal in the form of complete herbarium sheets for future reference.
