Living Fossils in Southern Western Ghats of Theni District, India
Abstract
Living fossils are actually one the best evidences for comparison for several specimens of widely different ages. During the floristic study in Bodi Hills range of the Southern Western Ghats in Theni district of Tamil Nadu, identified and documented the presence of three living fossil plants in abundant in this region. They are Psilotum, Equisetum and Cyathea.
