A General Review of Phyllanthus urinaria w.s.r to its Medicinal Effect

Abstract


Phyllanthus urinaria is a herb, with small and thin stem along with small green coloured fruit just like berry. This herb is used in much Ayurvedic formulation with countless medicinal property especially as hepatoprotective agent. It works as a miracle in hepatic disorder and maintains healthy function of liver. So, keeping in views of the hepatoprotective nature of the Bhumyamlaki, it was selected for the present study.
