Continuity and Limit Value of Functions

Dragan Obradovic, Lakshmi Narayan Mishra, Vishnu Narayan Mishra

Abstract

Limit value is one of the basic concepts of mathematical analysis. The notion of limit value defines continuity, mathematical derivatives and integrals. The limit value of the sequence and the limit value of the function are different. The limit value describes the number to which the value of the function or the value of the member of the mathematical array weighs, when the argument of the function or the index of the array approaches a value.

Keywords

function, limit value, continuity of function, mathematical analysis, mathematical array.
