Awareness of Web Resources among the Research Scholars of South Campus, University of Delhi

Abstract


The paper intended to evaluate the awareness of web resources among the research scholars of South Campus, University of Delhi. Survey method was applied in which structured questionnaire was distributed randomly among the scholars. The study found that scholars are aware of web resources and mostly use it for research purpose. Also, the research scholars are satisfied with the use of web resources for their research work as it helps in expediting their research also. Most of the scholars use google search engine to explore different web resources. Only few scholars face technical problems while accessing these resources. Maximum scholars are of the view that web resources are an attractive service in the library and that they help in building the image of the library.
