Abstract

Abstract

The nucleus of this study is to intensely observe the use behavior of e-resources by the faculty members working with the International Institute of Information Technology, Pune. The overall response rate was 85.18%, the responses were collected from 46 full time faculty members. It has been found that faculty members accessed and subscribed open source e-resources for the upliftment of educational as well as research boundaries. The usage of e-resources is moderate and is continuously trending towards the new heights. Deliberate marketing and implementation of appropriate promotional measures by the library professionals will definitely increase the thorough awareness among the end users which will boost the usage as well, and in a true sense the stakeholders will definitely lead the knowledge economy from the front.
