Abstract

The study explored different characteristics of linking study of fifteen Indian Institute of Management (IIM) websites. All the IIMs has their own websites, and all websites working under homogeneous Domain Name System “.ac.in” and “ernet.in.” To achieve the goal, these are a need to have websites of each academic institute to perform well and stay in the competition. The World Wide Web has now become one of the main sources of information on academic and research activities, and therefore, it is an excellent platform to test new methods of evaluating webometrics activities. The twentieth century may be described as the century of the development of metric sciences. libramatrics, bibliometrics, scientometrics, technometrics, webometrics, or cybernetics are developed in the twentieth century. A website is a collection of related web pages, images, videos, or other digital assets. IIM libraries are most important for IIMs. In the past several years, many research studies have focused on how people use electronic resources or on their feelings about resources in the library. These studies draw many conclusions about the behavior and preferences of library users.
