On Uniformly Most Powerful Tests for Truncated Parameters of several One-Parameter-Truncated Family of Distributions

Abstract

In this paper we have obtained Uniformly Most Powerful (UMP) Tests for testing the truncated parameters with its specific value of one-parameter-truncated family of distributions which needs the distribution of order statistics. Having derived these distributions, the UMP tests have been obtained. Further the power functions have been given for different values of the parameters. Also the results of the test and power function have been applied to some specific distributions like generalized uniform, Uniform, Negative exponential, Power function and Pareto distributions.
