A Study of Personality Traits of Secondary School Students of Ahmedabad City in Relation to Their Educational Achievement

Abstract

Personality is the most important motor of one’s mind to get used to what he/she intends to do, goals to achieve. Education is the most dangerous weapon that is used to build or destroy a given society/community. It depends on how one’s willing to use it. In a positive way, it is very important for the prosperity of the nation and in a negative way, it is the most dangerous the enemies of a nation are using to put down the whole system of a country. Some said that if you plan for a day, make an appointment it will get done, if you plan for a month, plant some vegetables; they will come up in help within the month. But, if you want to plan for the future, the only way is to send children to school. The present study is thought in the context of helping students-teachers to get and understand what is making their day to day occupation tough and end by failing. I have been thinking about the main causes that are making the learning-teaching situation succeed or fail and I was not getting until I decide to conduct a study on it. The study has the introductory part, the definition of keywords, the review of related literature (available at Gujarat University Central Library), the research design where the origin of the study is given and the analysis of data road to suggestions and conclusion.
