Abstract

The world is fighting with the “COVID-19” Pandemic. The government is in continuous effort with many strategies for managing the situation with self-isolation, quarantine zone, carrier connection tracing and awareness of WHO guidelines. To take on this battle, government has imposed a complete lockdown in the entire India. The mobile technology can play an important role to support government and society in this pandemic. This paper emphasizes on different types of mobile applications which are introduced to aware people about corona virus, its impacts, symptoms, precautions and other vital information along with how it can help in such pandemic. This paper will discuss different mobile applications which are created by National Informatics Centre, the governments of Punjab, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and MeitY-Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology with its usage, features and permission parameters for COVID-19 associated society.
