Novel Leadership Challenges for the Virtual Controlling of Work

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic emergency, many of the companies are assigning work from home to their employees. Managers are controlling their teams from remote places and facing leadership challenges in certain decision-making in the virtual control although they are optimally utilizing the technology for coordination among the team. This paper seeks to identify and suggest the solution for such work from home and controlling the teams from remote places. Senior leaders of the companies must re-examine key decision-making forms so as to improve trust, clarity, and collaboration.
