Abstract

E-Resources are short term for Electronic Resources or electronic information resources. An electronic resource is any information source that the library provides access to users in an electronic format. The libraries of engineering colleges have purchased subscriptions to many electronic information resources in order to provide access free of charge to the users. This paper aims to study the electronic information resources and services available on the library websites of engineering college libraries in Marathwada region. Also highlights Definitions, Types of E-resources, Purpose of E-Resources, Engineering Education, Libraries of Engineering Colleges, Websites of Engineering College Libraries, E-resources on the Websites and Conclusions.
