Abstract

Reading is a way to improve knowledge of one’s own experiences and it may be an exciting journey to discovery. Reading transfers experiences to the individual in order that the reader might expand one’s horizons, recognize, enlarge, and exaggerate his or her interest and gain deeper understanding of the globe. Newspaper is also an important source of information for all and brings news of daily happenings of the world. In this study, an attempt has been made to study the newspaper reading habits among postgraduate students of Periyar University, Tamil Nadu.
