Use of Career Information Resources at Bangalore University Library: A Study
Abstract
Of late, most of the academic institutions have started establishing career information resources centers to cater to the needs of users. These resource centers help students to appear for different entrance examinations leading for higher education and achieve their dream of getting employment in government and other establishments. The Bangalore University has established a well equipped career information resource center at its main library with books, magazines, and newspapers dealing with diverse topics of interest to provide students with the required information for competitive examinations. Research scholar undertook this study and found that the users have adopted self learning method to clear the competitive exams.
