Abstract

The most valuable component in any university or college is its faculty who have the complete responsibility of the student's future on their shoulders. Like this medical professional also plays a substantial role in the teaching of medical students, but the teaching which is not effective in nature is of no worth. Effective teaching is a collection of the teacher's features and functions through which educational goals are met. The purpose of this study is to analyze the different aspects of teaching effectiveness (content mastery, presentation style, effective communication, and interpersonal relationship) from the student point of view. A self-made questionnaire was used with the reliability of the 0.82 Cronbach's Alpha. This study was done in the department of Ilmul Amraz, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, AMU, Aligarh in which 300 students were participating. The result shows out of all four components of teaching effectiveness, presentation style is of keen value.
