Abstract

Cucurbita species is a good nutritional vegetable species and belongs to cucurbitaceae family. It is commonly grown throughout the world. It’s appearance is of green and yellowish-orange color. It contains so many nutritional values like proteins, fatty acids, carbohydrates and phytochemical constituents like phenolic compounds, flavonoids, tannins, etc. It shows so many pharmacological activities like anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, anti-ulcer, anti-diabetic activities, etc.
