A Review Report on Insect-Resistant Crops

Abstract


In this article, a review report on insect-resistant crops is presented. In practical agricultural terms, an insect-resistant crop cultivar is one that yields more than a vulnerable cultivar when confronted with insect pest invasion. This paper also describes the effect of insect pest-plant host relationship and advantages to the use of insect-resistant crop varieties. Growing of these crops in developing countries by small farmers is of great significance not only in terms of their earnings and health but also for the ecosystem.
