Abstract
The investigation consists of three genotypes (AAIMS 1, AAIMS 2 and J1006) of maize, obtained from Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, SHIATS Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh and P.A.U Ludhiana, Punjab. The experiment was conducted during kharif 2010 in field having Randomized Block Design with three replications and in the Post graduate laboratory of the Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Allahabad School of Agriculture, SHIATS Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, respectively. The data were recorded on six characters to study the per se performance of seed quality of fodder Maize. Analysis of variance revealed that there was considerable variation available for most of the characters studied. Per se performance of AAIMS 1 found best for seed quality traits followed by AAIMS 2 and J1006.
