Survey on Leafy Vegetables used by the Farmers of Kurumbalaperi Village in Tiruneveli District

Abstract
A survey was conducted to document the information regarding leafy vegetables used by the farmer inhabiting in Kurumbalaperi, Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu. Present investigation recorded 20 plants belonging to 15 families that are separately used as leafy vegetables and medicine by the local people and farmer. To give information regarding the leafy vegetables, their botanical names along with respective families, vernacular names have been mentioned. Attention should also be made on proper exploitation and utilization of these plants.
