Abstract

Abstract
The physical and functional change of Dr. JRK’s 777 oil subjected to extreme temperature was studied. Cyclic shift or timed shift of the oil from extreme cold to ambient temperature and vice versa has not affected either physical or functional change. However the initial storage temperature is found to have a great role in influencing the above feature of the oil. We have performed acid value and iodine value to understand the physical and functional aspect. Our present study assumes great significance in the context of growing global demand for Dr. JRK’s 777 oil as the climatic conditions are quite diverse between countries. Finding of the study clearly reveals the enormous export scope for the above product.
