Fungi Static Effect of Dano Oil and Lumina Shampoo

Abstract

Dano anti-dandruff oil and Lumina herbal shampoo is a proprietary of Siddha products used for anti-dandruff benefit. In the present study, both the products were evaluated for anti-fungal effect against three species of fungi such as Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Candida albicans and Pityrosporum ovale by agar well diffusion method. The findings clearly showed that Dano and Lumina possess anti-fungal activity.
