Deductive Group Method for Heat Transfer of Gas Laminar Forced Convection Flow with Variable Physical Property
Abstract
The deductive group transformation technique is applied to derive invariant solutions for laminar forced convection flow having variable physical property. The one-parameter deductive group transformation reduces the number of independent variables by one and hence governing partial differential equation is reduced to ordinary differential equation with appropriate boundary condition. Resulting ordinary differential equation is solved using mathematical software and the results are graphically presented. From the graph, it is observed that Prandtl number and gas temperature parameters have significant effect on velocity and temperature variations for the given flow consisting physical variable property.
