Group Technique for Boundary Layer Equations of Time-Dependent Power-Law Fluids Over Non-Isothermal Surface
Abstract
The multi-parameter group technique is developed to derive invariant solution for the system of non-linear partial differential equations governing unsteady, two-dimensional boundary layer flows over a heated surface of power-law fluids. The basic non-liner system of partial differential equations with three independent variables is converted into system of non-linear ordinary differential equation, by single application using proposed multiparameter group method. The numerical solution for the system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations is derived. Effects of flow behavior index, suction-injection parameter Prandtl number, and surface temperature exponent with the time and the distance on the flow are also discussed.
