Review on Wired and Wireless Solar Mobile Charger

Harshita Singh, Ravi Jaiswal

Abstract

The paper presents solar mobile chargers its principle, components, working, application, social need, efficiency, and cost and covers other parameters also. We review the process of making solar mobile chargers and how it can overcome the common people problems which are arising due to its battery and its charging process. By using solar energy on mobile chargers, we can save electricity which comes through non-renewable energy resources, it will help to save our environment also. We present a solar mobile charger that is charged by solar energy. We used solar panels for receiving solar energy. But due to the unavailability of the sun sometimes, we used batteries also, so that we can utilize power during the absence of the sun. In this paper, I am defining two types of chargers one is wired and another one is wireless. But here we focused majorly on wired mobile charger components and their processing due to their better features than wireless solar mobile chargers – wired charging is more efficient and faster, and it is available at a low cost. Wireless charging has become popular nowadays because here we can charge our phones without having to plug anything and it also enables the feature of multiple devices charging at a time. The Main problem with the wireless charger is, it is slow and works in a limited range. I also discussed the advancement of this technology by making it coin-based solar mobile charger, we can use it at railway stations, bus stops, taxi stands, and other public places for helping those people who forget to carry their chargers with them.
