Abstract

A weather monitoring gadget uses various sensors to gather meteorological and environmental data.
Two categories of weather monitoring exist. One which has inbuilt sensors, and the second type of
weather monitoring is where the data is extracted from the weather station servers. Because the weather
varies daily based on external factors, it is imperative to monitor the surrounding conditions. The
physical and mental well-being of humans is greatly influenced by the weather. Thus, the purpose of
this gadget is to measure pressure, humidity, temperature, and precipitation. Here we are using various
types of sensors like DHT11 for Temperature and Humidity, BMP180 for Pressure and Rain Sensor.
Prototype has these sensors so that we can take measurements of the parameters. The Node MCU8266
based Wi-Fi Module is a brain of this device. All the sensors are connected to Node MCU8266.
