Tail Reoriented Systematic Sampling Scheme for Finite Population

Abstract

This study discusses about a new sampling scheme in the systematic setup for estimation of the population mean. The expression for the variance of the sample mean is derived and a comparative study is with the variance of the sample mean of simple random sampling (without replacement), linear systematic sampling and stratified sampling in the presence of linear trend, two-way linear trend and trend of the form
