A Review of Statistical Study Approaches

A traditional introductory statistics course was modified to include a semester-long sequence of projects, with written and oral reports of the results, to help students develop statistical reasoning. It is critical that the motivating instances are genuine. If students see statistical reasoning applied to questions that are intriguing and genuine to them, they are more likely to believe in its power. Student test results improved considerably for students who actively used their educational resources. This innovative strategy received an incredibly positive response from students. The essay focuses on the statistical study method of several actions in their schooling such as doing, studying, writing, and speaking.
