Value Addition to Library Services: Case Study of a Plagiarism Check

Abstract


Library can add value to its services in many ways. In this paper case of value addition and various benefits for Plagiarism check service using statistical analysis is discussed. Now a day’s librarians use lot of tools, software’s and techniques for effective plagiarism checks. Statistical analysis gives insights and action points for improvisation of services. By implementing effective methodology, librarians are able to reduce operational iterations, save users time, build confidence and gain higher customer satisfaction. Similar kind of approach can be applied for various new services in libraries.
