Library Herald: Citation Analysis (1958 to 2014)

Abstract

The attempt has been made to analysis the journal Library Herald for the period of 53 years (1958-2014). It is examined that 1617 authors have been published 1005 articles during the marked period i.e. in 53 years which were with 22696 citations. The present study examines and analyzed the various parameters i.e. sources used for the article, volume wise distribution i.e. books journals, conference proceedings, citations, Dissertation/ Thesis, Reports (govt./ project/ commission/ committee), Newspaper/ Newsletter/ Magazines and Miscellaneous. It also examines the average number of references used in each articles.
