Managing E-Books using CALIBRE Software

Plenty of open source and subscription based e-books are available on the internet. Libraries,
Academicians and Researchers commonly store the e-books in the form of files and folders on
their personal computers and storage devices. Retrieval of scattered E-books becomes very
difficult when the collection grows. Managing e-books manually as a personal collection or in
a library is a complex, time consuming and difficult task. E-Book management
system supports online reading as well improve the reading culture. CALIBRE E-Book
management system enables user to organize E-books and other E-resources systematically.
This paper introduces the open source CALIBRE E-book management software and describes
its Features, functionality, design, architecture, utility etc.
