A study of Open source E- Resources useful for Technical Educational Institutes

Dimensions of Libraries are changing from traditional library to hybrid library, hybrid library to digital library & now from digital library to virtual library. It is now need of the digital era to keep e-collection in the library to satisfy the techno savvyusers. Also it is made mandatory by different governing/affiliating bodies such as UGC, AICTE to keep e-resources. Many publishers provides free and open access to the e-resources with best support services. Open and free access to e-resources has been gaining ground among the academic circles throughout the world. These materials can be excellent resources to supplement online library materials. The library is happy to provide a set of hand-picked open access e-resources which include e- journals, e-books, databases, e-dictionaries, e-newspapers, thesis, synopsis, open course wares, patents& virtual labs. All these resources are scholarly and useful to support academic and research work and are available on the web.
