Abstract

Abstract

Over the last few decades farming has become an unviable activity. Indian farmers are increasingly finding themselves in a vicious cycle of debt, because of the high production costs, high interest rates for credit, the volatile market prices of crops, the rising costs of seeds, fertilizers and pesticides, etc. This paper looks into different farming techniques such as chemical farming, organic farming and natural farming.

Keywords: Zero budget natural farming (ZBNF), chemical farming, hydroponic farming
