Liquid Fertilizer from Food Waste
Abstract
Food waste primarily includes a smart potential if it's processed into organic liquid plant food rather throws away. the present analysis study deals with conversion of garbage generated from restaurants, wedding halls and hotels into organic liquid plant food through anaerobic method within the Cherlapally Industrial space for up service level benchmarks as thought-about by the Ministry of atmosphere and Forest. The garbage was processed in a very closed instrumentality together with adding of syrup in anaerobic conditions wherever once seventy two hours the garbage started changing into organic liquid plant food and a by-product as pulp. The NPK values were analyzed within the liquid plant food that show N-1.15 %, P-0.308% and K-zero.7% and in pulp N-0.39%, P-0.159% and K-0.51%. Pot culture experiments in triplicate were conducted to check the toxicity of the organic liquid plant food for seed germination. Liquid plant food includes a ton of benefits owing to simple method, cheap and no facet effects. The ensuing edges square measure terribly expected to fertilize crops, to keep up the steadiness of nutrient components within the soil and reducing the unhealthy impacts of chemical fertilizers. In adding up to a liquid plant food which will be sold within the market, liquid plant food will be used for agriculture purpose or within the premises for plantation.
