Anti Bacterial and Anti Coagulant Studies of Tridax Procubens
Abstract
Abstract
Tridax procumbens proved to be effective producer of bioactive agent, when treated with different solvent. In chloroform it proved to be very effective with MIC of 200–800 mg/dL against the urinary tract pathogens and MBC of 600–1200 mg/dL. Study towards the prothrombin time and activated partial thromboplastin time showed potent anti coagulant activity.
