Abstract

Abstract

This study evaluates the action of homoeopathic bio-chemic medicines as a supplement in germination. Two seeds (Vigna radiata and Trigonella foenum) was germinated in control, calcarea phosphorica 6x, calcarea flourica 6x and silicea 6x. The radicle length indicated the extent of germination. The quality of germinated seeds was studied by phytochemical and anti-microbial study on aqueous and methanolic extracts. In Vigna radiata, Calcarea flourica 6x (CF) initiate the germination and Silicea 6x (SIL) increase the percentage of germination and to hasten the growth. Silicea group shows resistance to five microbes. In Trigonella foenum, Silicea initiates the germination. Calcarea phosphorica (CP) helps in later part of germination. Both the seeds showed different patterns of promotion in the process of germination on the usage of these homoeopathic bio-chemic medicines.
