The Effect of Glomus fasciculatum on the Medicinal Plant Centella asiatica (L.) Urban

Abstract

The Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal species Glomus fasciculatum was inoculated into the medicinal plant Centella asiatica L. to examine their effect on the growth parameters such as root length, shoot length, leaf length, fresh and dry weight, no. of leaves in a period of 20, 40, and 60 days. The best results were observed in Glomus fasciculatum and Azospirillum (T4) inoculated plant species.
