Occurrence of an Australian Species Tinospora smilacina Benth. (Menispermaceae) in India

Abstract

Abstract
The present paper limelight the occurrence of Tinospora smilacina Benth. An Australian species collected from the Maruthamalai hills, Western Ghats of Tamil Nadu in India. A detailed taxonomic description, distribution, photograph and illustration of this newly recorded species are provided to facilitate easy identification.
