Potential Health Benefits of Goat Milk

Abstract


Goats are poor man’s animal. Goats can withstand the harsh climates that generate an alternative source of income for the small, landless and marginal farmers. Goat milk has lot of nutritive values and therapeutic values compared to cow milk. Goat milk is rich source of calcium, magnesium and phosphors compared to cow and human milk. Goat milk has lot of health benefits like prevention of cardiovascular disease, cancer, allergy, antidiabetic effects and also used for enhancing the immunity. Goat milk is more digestible for infants, older and convalescent people.
